Iyengar Yoga

In this traditional Iyengar Yoga Class we will focus on using the assistance of props like the walls, chairs, bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets to support and assist yoga postures (asanas). Iyengar yoga is great for both new and advancing students to encourage integrity in yoga poses with a great focus on proper alignment and muscular activity to safely stretch and release. This class is great for people who may be working through past injuries or imbalances in the body or spine, however please inform the teacher before class if you have any conditions as such that she should be aware of.
