Lindsay Heard

Lindsay’s introduction to a regular yoga practice began in 2017 while seeking natural support for ADHD, anxiety, and addiction recovery. As her own practice evolved, she began experiencing the serenity that a meditative asana practice brought both within the studio as well as expanding into her personal life. Improved focus and nervous system regulation were only initial benefits. Lindsay developed a diverse community of yogis all working individually and collectively to grow in spiritual principles. Her desire to share this gift led her to become an instructor in 2022.

Studying under Emily Darling and Melanie Nicsinger, Lindsay completed 200 hour yoga teacher training with Darling Yoga. It is her desire to create a warm, accessible, and inviting practice to both new and seasoned students seeking to grow in mindfulness, self-confidence, and the pursuit of spiritual principles. In her class you will find safety, encouragement, and the occasional joke or intriguing playlist. Outside the studio, you will find Lindsay professionally serving the community as a targeted case manager for individuals with disabilities. She also shares her experience, strength, and hope to other women in 12 step recovery. Of the many roles she fills, being the mother to four teenagers is her most treasured.
