Madison Waltrip

Madison has been practicing yoga since the first class she attended in 2012. She found that it did not only assist her in healing from injuries and chronic pain, but that it had a deep impact on her mental health and well-being. Learning how to breathe with intention and move the body through mindful asana has been a life changing experience for her. Madison completed her 200-hour YTT with Darling Yoga in July 2022, accomplishing a decade long goal of becoming a teacher, and she is RYT-200 certified. She is a licensed social worker in the state of Kansas, and has extensive experience with the child welfare system, as well as trauma informed care. Madison’s classes vary in difficulty level, but modification is a priority so that every student feels empowered to move through a class while honoring what their body needs. Her goal is to promote inclusion, ensuring that every student in her class feels seen and heard. She empowers her students to carve out time for themselves to deepen their practice and maintains a safe and healing space for them to do so.
